It also invests millions every year in high speed mobile (4G, 4G +) and fixed network (VDSL, FTTx) infrastructure.
Telecom operators are constantly striving to keep up with the Mobile data soaring demand. In order to do so they require robust infrastructure. Cell stations are part of this requirement to ensure coverage for thousands of users at a time and it is critical that they are safeguarded against all types of hazards. When the grid fails they need to sustain operability with N+1 redundancy power systems. The UPS system provides fallback power while recharged by a Diesel Generator. Consequently, fire protection systems in these facilities are essential.
Design, install and commission reliable automatic fire suppression systems for the protection of more than 400 generator rooms which are part of the cell stations that are strategically scattered throughout Greece. These facilities are often in remote locations and in order to maintain communications they are equipped with expensive hardware. The task is to safeguard the generators that in turn aid the running of the hardware that provide uninterrupted communication. This requires a dependable solution capable of suppressing fires while significantly reducing the risk of collateral damage upon activation.

Additionally, the technology was ideal for VICTUS Networks specialists because it can be designed to tolerate small leakages and consequently, partial fire suppressing agent escape. The system can be engineered to prevent fire re-ignition even with reduced enclosure integrity. Additionally, the FirePro fire suppression agent is ecofriendly and will not contaminate the environment post discharge.
